Fruited Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe

Simply yummy!!!! These two words come to the mind instantly when you taste this Fruited Stuffed Pork Chops. I am sure both of us will be in agreement that this Fruited Stuffed Pork Chops is truly scrumptious.

Ingredients

 
2 tablespoons chopped onion
 
1/4 cup chopped celery
 
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
 
1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix
 
3 (0.9-ounce) packages mixed dried fruit
 
2 tablespoons raisins
 
6 (1-inch-thick) center cut pork chops
 
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
 
1/2 cup dry white wine

Directions

Saute onion and celery in 1/4 cup butter until tender; remove from heat.
Add stuffing mix, mixed dried fruit, and raisins; stir well, and set aside.
Make pockets in pork chops, cutting from rib side just to beginning of fat edge of each chop.
Stuff pockets of pork chops with stuffing mixture.
Dredge pork chops in flour, and brown in 2 tablespoons butter, turning once.
Transfer pork chops to a lightly greased 13- x 9- x 2-inch baking dish; add wine.
Cover and bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
