Fruited Pork Chops Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 pork loin chops (about 1 inch thick), well trimmed | ||
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| 6 tart apples, cored and thickly sliced | ||
| Currants | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), dried | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
In skillet, brown chops in oil.
Sprinkle with salt during browning; drain well.
Place chops in crock pot.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours.
