Fruited Rice Pilaf Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups water
1 cup uncooked rice
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 medium tomato, chopped
1/3 cup minced dried apples
1/4 cup minced dried apricots
1/4 cup sliced green onions
3/4 teaspoon Seasoned Salt
1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder with Parsley
3 tablespoons sliced almonds
Directions
In 2-quart saucepan, bring water to a boil; add rice and butter.
Return to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients except almonds; cook 5 to 10 minutes longer or until rice is tender.
Stir in almonds.
Garnish with apple slices and celery leaves, if desired.
