Ingredients

 
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
 
1/2 cup chopped raw peanuts
 
1/2 cup chopped blanched almonds
 
1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
 
1/2 cup raisins
 
1/3 cup snipped dried apricots
 
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
 
Milk, half-and-half, or light cream (optional)

Directions

1 Combine oats, peanuts, almonds, and wheat germ. Spread in a 15 1/2 X 10 1/2 X 1-inch baking pan.
2 Toast in 400° oven for 10 minutes; stir once. Stir in raisins, apricots, and brown sugar. Cool. If desired, serve with milk, half-and-half, or cream. Store in an airtight container.
