 Almonds1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), slivered
 Butter/Margarine2 Tablespoon
 Soft apricots1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped (dried)
 Honey2 Tablespoon

Bring to a boil.
Cover tightly.
Simmer until all water is absorbed, about 50 minutes.
Lightly brown almonds in butter or margarine.
Stir almond-butter mixture into hot cooked rice.
Stir in apricots and honey.
