Fruit Roll Pudding Recipe
Yummy Fruit Roll Pudding is sure to sweep off your feet!!! Best enjoyed as a Dessert this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. Tell me how you enjoyed my Fruit Roll Pudding. Feedback helps to keep me going and experimenting more.
Ingredients
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup shortening
2/3 cup milk (scant)
Directions
Sift dry ingredients together, cut in shortening until mixture is mealy.
Stir in milk.
Turn out on floured board and roll one half inch thick.
Spread with butter, then with thinly sliced apples or peaches.
Sprinkle with brown sugar, and nutmeg to taste.
Roll up like a jelly roll and cut in two inch slices.
Stir in milk.
