Fruit Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup rye flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cups boiling sweet cider
1 cup berries or other fruit, fresh or dried, chopped
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon oil
2 teaspoons lemon rind, grated
2 teaspoons orange rind, grated
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, ground
Directions
Sift flour and salt into cider in saucepan.
Cook over gentle heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Add fruit.
Cook 1 minute longer.
Remove from heat and blend in rest of ingredients.
Turn into individual serving dishes.
Serve hot or cold.
