Fruit In Marsala (Frutta Al Marsala) Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Juice of one lemon | ||
| Marsala | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 small peauches, peeled | ||
| 2 oranges, peeled and sliced | ||
Directions
Dissolve the sugar in the water and lemon juice in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil and cook until thick.
Cool.
Add Marsala and chill.
Blanch the peaches by plunging quickly into boiling water.
Remove from boiling water, drain and peel.
Stir peaches and oranges into the syrup and chill thoroughly before serving.
