2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 or 3 eggs
 
1/2 cup milk
 
1/2 cup flour
 
1/4 teaspoon salt Fresh fruit Sugar Whipped cream

Directions

Melt butter in pie pan; remove from heat and tilt pan to coat surface. Set aside. Beat eggs; add milk, flour, and salt. Beat until smooth. Pour melted butter from pan into mixture and blend. Pour mixture into buttered pan. Bake on lower rack 20 minutes or until golden color on tips of puffs; reduce heat to 325 degrees F. (if center is too puffed, prick with a fork). Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer. Serve warm, filled with fresh fruit, sugar, and whipped cream. Raspberries, strawberries, or sliced peaches (drizzled with lemon juice) make a beautiful dessert, Sunday night snack, or special breakfast.
