Fruit Fluff Dessert Salad, Microwaved Recipe
I have only one word to describe this Fruit Fluff Dessert Salad, Microwaved recipe : Superlicious! Best enjoyed as a Side Dish this recipe was taught to me by a dear friend who also happens to be a great chef. Just try this yummy recipe. I am sure you will love it!
Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon finely grated orange peel
1 egg; white, stiffly beaten
1 cup orange yogurt
1 pint fresh strawberries, cleaned and halved
2 bananas sliced
2 oranges, peeled and sliced
1 cup seedless green grapes
1 cup seedless red grapes
1 cup blueberries
Directions
Combine sugar, syrup, water and orange peel in 1-quart glass measuring cup; micro-cook on HIGH 2 minutes, or until sugar has dissolved.
Stir; microcook on HIGH until mixture reaches 236° F, or soft ball stage, 3 to 4 minutes.
Very slowly add hot syrup into stiffly beaten egg white.
Fold in yogurt; chill.
Combine fruits in serving dish, reserving a few strawberry halves for garnish.
Spoon dressing over top; garnish with strawberry halves
