1 package (3 oz.) Jell-O Gelatin, any flavor
 
1 cup boiling water
 
3/4 cup cold water

Directions

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Add cold water.
Pour into a shallow pan; chill until firm.
Break into small flakes with a fork, or force through potato ricer or large meshed strainer.
Pile lightly in dessert dishes.
Garnish with fruit, prepared whipped topping, or whipped cream, if desired
