Fruit Filling Recipe

This fruit filling is prepared with mixed fruits. I use canned fruits for this filling and flavored with a dash of vanilla, the fruit filling can be sed for dessert rolls or cakes.

Single or mixed fruit- 1/2 pound
 
Water- 1 cup
 
Sugar- 1 cup
 
Vanilla- 1 teaspoon

GETTING READY
1.Start by chopping the fruit fine and boil in the water, if necessary, until tender
MAKING
2.In a pot, add sugar and cook slowly until smooth and thick
3.Remove from the heat, add vanilla and cool
SERVING
4.Use as a filling in cakes, pastries, custards or ice creams
