4 cups prepared fruit, such as sliced apples, peaches, or pears
2 tablespoons water
1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar, depending on tartness of fruit

1 cup Multi-Purpose Baking Mix
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pinch nutmeg
1 egg

1. Place fruit in a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Mix water and sugar, and spoon over fruit.
2. Combine Baking Mix, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
3. Beat egg and add gradually to mix, stirring with a fork until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit.
