Fruit Crisp Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
5 to 6 cups sliced peeled fruit
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup all purpose flour (or half flour,half oatmeal)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
Spread 2 tablespoons of the butter in the bottom of a 2 quart shallow baking dish.
Arrange fruit in the dish in an even layer.
Mix together sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; blend in remaining butter with fork until the mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle mixture evenly over fruit, pressing it down lightly.
Bake in a preheated 375° oven 25 to 35 minutes or until fruit is tender when pierced with a fork.
