Fruit And Crab Salad Recipe
Fruit And Crab Salad is a old fashion but very delicious. The seafood lover just relishes munching fruit and crab salad. The prefect amalgamation of mayonnaise, hot sauce and mustard gives the fruit and crab salad a mouth watering taste.
Ingredients
1 (6 ounce) package lemon-flavored gelatin
1/2 teaspoon crushed rosemary
1 cup fresh orange sections
1 cup fresh grapefruit sections
1 pound fresh crab meat or 2 (6 ounce) packages frozen Alaskan King crab, thawed
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
3 drops of hot sauce
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
3/4 cup sliced celery
Directions
Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water.
Add 2 cups cold water; chill until partially set.
Fold in rosemary and orange and grapefruit sections; spoon into 1 1/2 quart ring mold.
Chill until firm.
Drain crab; cut into large pieces.
Place in medium-size bowl.
Mix onion with parsley, hot sauce, mayonnaise, mustard, and celery.
Pour over crab; toss until mixed; chill.
Unmold gelatin onto large serving plate; fill center with crab mixture.
Garnish with salad greens;
Add 2 cups cold water; chill until partially set.
Fold in rosemary and orange and grapefruit sections; spoon into 1 1/2 quart ring mold.
Chill until firm.
