Fruit Vegetable Toss Recipe
Ingredients
| Lettuce | 12 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 ounces sharp natural Cheddar cheese, cut in thin strips | ||
| Celery | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Salad oil | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wine vinegar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Dry mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 4 medium pared oranges, cut in bite-size pieces | ||
| Nectarines | 2 Medium, peeled | |
Directions
Combine lettuce, cheese, and celery in large salad bowl.
To prepare dressing, beat together oil, vinegar, sugar, onion, dry mustard, and salt.
Pour enough dressing over lettuce to coat lightly; toss.
Top with orange pieces and nectarine slices.
Toss again.
Pass remaining dressing.
