Fruit Turkey Kabobs Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 pound cooked boneless turkey roast, cut in twelve 1-inch cubes | ||
| 1 orange, cut in wedges | ||
| 1 firm pear, cut in wedges | ||
| 1 green pepper, cut in squares | ||
| 4 small spiced crab apples | ||
| Cranberry sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), jellied | |
| Apricot preserves | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ground cinnamon | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Dash ground cloves | ||
Directions
Thread pieces of turkey, orange, pear, green pepper, and a crab apple onto four 10-inch skewers.
In saucepan combine remaining ingredients; bring to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Brush sauce over turkey and fruit.
Grill about 4 inches above medium-hot coals till meat and fruit are hot and well glazed, 5 to 10 minutes.
Turn and brush occasionally with sauce.
Pass remaining sauce.
