Fruit Treat Recipe
Ingredients
| Brown rice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Honey | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 cups diced assorted fresh fruits and berries | ||
| 2 oranges, peeled, diced and drained | ||
| Red apple | 1 Large, unpeeled | |
| Pecans | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Yogurt | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Cook rice with water, salt and butter or margarine according to package directions.
Chill thoroughly.
In a large bowl, combine rice, honey and lemon juice.
Mix well.
Mix in fruits and pecans.
Add yogurt as needed to bind ingredients together.
