Fruit Strata Salad Recipe

Fruit Strata Salad made with this recipe looks nice in addition to tasting great! This is the most comforting Side Dish recipe I have come across. I bet you haven't tried any Italian dish like Fruit Strata Salad. Along with taste, Fruit Strata Salad is a Low Fat dish too. I will look forward to your feedback.

Ingredients

 
2 cups shredded lettuce
 
6 cups desired fresh fruits
 
Lemon juice
 
1 8-ounce carton (1 cup) flavored yogurt
 
1/2 cup shredded gruyere or Swiss cheese (2 ounces)
 
Fresh mint (optional)

Directions

Place half of the lettuce in bottom of large glass bowl.
If necessary, brush fruits with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Top with three layers of desired fruits (2 cups each).
Sprinkle with remaining lettuce.
Spread yogurt over top; sprinkle with shredded cheese.
Cover and chill for several hours.
If desired, garnish with a sprig of mint.
Gently toss to serve.
