Fruit Spiced Short Ribs Recipe
Fruit Spiced Short Ribs is a very tasty and different way to cook up spare ribs. I am right when I say this Fruit Spiced Short Ribs is wonderful. Everyone raves about it!
Ingredients
3 pounds beef short ribs
1/4 cup flour
3 tablespoons oil
1 can consomme or beef broth
1 cup dried apricots
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
Directions
Dust ribs with flour.
Heat oil in a large skillet, and brown ribs on all sides.
Place ribs in the crock cooker.
Combine remaining ingredients, and pour this mixture over ribs.
Cover and cook at Low heat for 6 to 8 hours.
Remove ribs and apricots.
Skim off excess fat, and serve cooking juices over meat.
Top each serving with the cooked apricots
