Fruit Soup Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 pound mixed dried fruits, such as pitted prunes, apricots, raisins, pears, peaches, or apples
2 1/2 quarts water
2 pounds mixed fresh fruits, such as cubed or sliced peaches, apricots, pears, plums, or apples, or whole strawberries, blueberries, or lackberries 1/4 cup lemon juice
Honey to taste
Plain yogurt
Directions
1. Combine the dried fruits and water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat until tender, about 30 minutes.
2. Add the fresh fruits, except the berries, and cook for 5 minutes. Add the berries and cook for 5 minutes longer. Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice. Sweeten with honey. Cool and chill well.
