Fruit Shakes Recipe
Ingredients
| PEACH SHAKE | ||
| 2-3 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced, or 1 cup frozen peach slices | ||
| 1 cup plain or vanilla nonfat yogurt | ||
| 1/2 cup peach juice or apricot nectar | ||
| STRAWBERRY SHAKE | ||
| 1 pint fresh strawberries, cleaned and stemmed, or 1 pint frozen strawberries | ||
| 1 cup plain, vanilla, or lemon nonfat yogurt | ||
| 3-4 tablespoons orange juice, apple juice, or apple-strawberry juice | ||
| Maple syrup | 3 Tablespoon | |
| MANGO SHAKE | ||
| 1 ripe mango, pitted and peeled | ||
| 1 tablespoon frozen limeade concentrate | ||
| 1 cup milk or pineapple juice | ||
| BANANA SHAKE | ||
| 1 ripe banana, peeled and sliced | ||
| Orange juice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional) | ||
Directions
For any fruit shake, puree all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Serve chilled, topped with a dollop of freshly whipped cream if you're feeling indulgent.
