Fruit Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Peach jam | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon rind- 1 lemon, grated | ||
| Lemon juice- 1 lemon | ||
| Dates | 1/4 pound, chopped | |
| Cherries | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Blanched almonds | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), slivered | |
| Rum Flavouring- 1 teaspoon | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, heat water, jam, lemon juice and lemon rind.
2) Add the dates, cherries, almonds and rum.
3) Simmer, stirring continuously until thickened.
SERVING
4) Refrigerate and serve as desired.
