Fruit Salad Jam Recipe
Ingredients
| 8 Tahitian apples (or green mangoes or cooking apples) | ||
| Banana | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Pineapple | 2 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Pawpaw | 2 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| 1/2 cup passionfruit pulp | ||
| 1 orange, grated rind | ||
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Wash apples or mangoes, cut up (leave skin on apples but peel mangoes).
Just cover with water and boil till soft.
Strain in a cloth.
Reserve the juice and put in large pan.
Add the cut-up fruit, pulp, grated rind and lemon juice.
Bring to the boil and cook 5 minutes.
Remove and measure the fruit and liquid.
Add 1 cup of sugar to every cup of fruit and juice.
Boil till testing a small amount in a saucer shows that the jam will set.
