Fruit Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Ripe pineapple - 1, cut in spears | ||
| Grapefruit | 2 | |
| Oranges | 4 | |
| Red apples - 2, cored and cut in eighths | ||
| Ripe pears - 2, cored and sliced | ||
| Black and white grapes - 1 cup | ||
| Red currant jelly | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a large bowl, add all fruits, orange juice and stir. Chill overnight in the refrigerator.
MAKING
2. Now, drain the fruits and reserve the liquids from the fruit.
3. In a saucepan, melt jelly, add reserved liquids, and brush thickly on the fruits.
SERVING
4. On a nice salad plate, arrange the evenly brushed fruits, and serve cool.
