Fruit Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 oz. castor sugar | ||
| Water | 1/4 Pint | |
| 1 tablespoon klrsch or sweet sherry | ||
| 1 dessert pear, peeled and sliced | ||
| 1 dessert apple, peeled and diced | ||
| 1 banana, peeled and sliced | ||
| 4 oz. black grapes, halved and seeded | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan prepare syrup dissolving sugar in water over low heat.
2) Boil and simmer for 2 minutes and take off heat.
3) Add kirsch or sherry and put syrup to cool.
4) Add prepared fruit to the syrup. Plunge apples and bananas in a little lemon juice to keep white color.
5) Chill.
SERVING
6) Pass with cream or ice cream.
