Fruit Salad Recipe
Fruit Salad is easy to make fruit recipe. Fruit Salad gets its taste from fruit mixed with chili powder and tamarind. Fruit Salad is loved by many people.

| Tamarind | 225 Gram, dried | |
| 1 tspn chilli powder sugar | ||
| Green chillies | 2 , thinly sliced | |
| 2.5cm piece root ginger, peeled and cut into fine strips | ||
| 1 each pear, apple and banana or guava, mango and any other fruit, cut into small pieces | ||
Directions
Put the tamarind in a bowl, cover with boiling water and set aside for 3 hours or overnight.
Tip the tamarind and water into a sieve placed over a saucepan and, using your fingers, push through as much pulp as possible.
Discard the husk and seeds.
Add the chilli powder, sugar to taste and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes.
Pour into a bowl and set aside to cool.
Stir in the chillies, (For a savoury accompaniment use ginger and fruit).
Cover and chill before serving.
