Fruit Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pastry for 9-inch 2-crust pie or 1 10- to 11-ounce package piecrust mix | ||
| One of fruit fillings (right) | ||
| 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, cut into bits | ||
Directions
1. Prepare pastry and line 9-inch pie plate as directed for 2-crust pie. Preheat oven to 425°F.
2. Spoon filling into piecrust; dot filling with butter or margarine.
3. Place top crust on filling; make a decorative edge
4. Bake pie 40 to 50 minutes until golden. Cool slightly on wire rack to serve warm. Or cool pie completely to serve later.
