Fruit & Nut Snack Bars Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 3 | |
| 1 1/3 cups (one-half jar) Ready-to-Use Mincemeat (Regular or Brandy & Rum) | ||
| Pecans | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Unsweetened chocolate square | 2 , melted | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Unsifted flour | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Confectioners' sugar | ||
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In large mixer bowl, beat margarine and granulated sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir in mincemeat, chopped pecans, chocolate and salt; mix well.
Stir in flour.
Spread evenly into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Cut into bars.
Garnish with pecan halves if desired.
