Ingredients

 Butter margarine1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened
 Granulated Sugar1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Eggs3
 1 1/3 cups (one-half jar) Ready-to-Use Mincemeat (Regular or Brandy & Rum)
 Pecans1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Unsweetened chocolate square2 , melted
 Salt1/4 Teaspoon
 Unsifted flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Confectioners' sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°.
In large mixer bowl, beat margarine and granulated sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir in mincemeat, chopped pecans, chocolate and salt; mix well.
Stir in flour.
Spread evenly into lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
Bake 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool.
Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
Cut into bars.
Garnish with pecan halves if desired.
