Fruit Noodle Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
| Plain gelatine-1 envelope | ||
| Water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water-1 cup-boiling | ||
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Canned pineapple-1/4 cup syrup | ||
| Pineapple tidbits | 1 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Medium bananas-2 -sliced | ||
| CATELLI FINE EGG NOODLES-1 cup -cooked, drained and cooled | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a large bowl, pour the cold water
2. Sprinkle gelatin over the cold water
3. Add boiling water to the bowl
4. Stir till it is dissolved
5. Cool
6. Add lemon juice and syrup to the bowl and mix well
7. Pre-rinse a 1 1/2 quart mould with cold water
8. In the same large 1 1/2 quart mould, pour about ½ cup of the mixture
9. Chill this till it is firm
10. Chill the rest of the gelatin mixture till it just begins to thicken
11. Gently add in the pineapple, bananas, and noodles to the partially set gelatin.
12. Tip the chilled gelatin into mould that contains the ready gelatin mix.
13. Chill till firm
FINALIZING
14. Unmold the gelatin just before serving
SERVING
15. Serve the gelatin with whipped cream
