Fruit Fondue With Lemon Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
Dash of nutmeg
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
3 cups fresh fruits, cut into bite-size pieces
Directions
Blend butter, sugar and flour in saucepan.
Stirring constantly, gradually add water.
Mix in lemon peel and nutmeg.
Bring to boil and stir constantly until sauce is thickened, about 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and blend in lemon juice.
Arrange fruit on platter around bowl of sauce.
Provide toothpicks for dunking.
