Fruit Filling Recipe
Ingredients
1/3 cup cornstarch
2 cups fruit juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup fresh or frozen fruit, in chunks
How to make Fruit Filling
In a bowl, dilute cornstarch in 1/2 cup (125 mL) fruit juice.Set aside.
In a saucepan, heat remaining fruit juice, sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon.
Add fruit.
Bring to a boil.
Let mixture boil 1 minute.
Add fruit juice and corn starch mixture.
Stirring vigorously, boil until mixture bubbles.
Off heat, continue stirring 2 minutes.
Let cool.
