 2/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped, or hazelnuts, finely chopped
 Sugar2 Tablespoon
 Light brown sugar1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Pinch
 Ground cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 Unsalted butter3 Tablespoon, chilled

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 300° F.
2. Combine the fruit with 1 tablespoon of flour in an ungreased 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
3. Combine the remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl, and mix, by hand or with two forks, until the mixture is crumbly and consistent.
4. Place the mixture on top of the fruit and place pan in oven. Bake for 30 minutes and then raise heat to 350° F. and bake 15 minutes longer.
