Fruit Cobbler Recipe
Fruit Cobbler is popular with my family, its sure to be so with your family too. The marriage of the irresistible flavors of Fruits with other ingredients is the secret to this Fruit Cobbler. Fruit Cobbler goes perfectly as Dessert. Just try this dish and see how you get hooked to it!
Ingredients
Filling:
2 cans (30 oz. ea.) peach slices or other canned fruit, drained
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Topping :
1 cup buttermilk biscuit mix
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons hot water
Directions
Combine Filling ingredients in 8-inch square dish.
Combine topping ingredients, stir until dough pulls away from sides of bowl and forms a ball.
Gently spread topping onto filling (topping will spread slightly when heated).
Sprinkle, if desired, with additional cinnamon.
Cook at MEDIUM-HIGH 9 to 11 minutes, or until topping is set.
Let stand to cool.
