 Assorted fruits such as grapes, cantaloupe or honeydew melon, strawberries, peaches, pears, apples, and figs
 Lemon juice
 Thinly sliced prosciutto
 Assorted cheeses such as Swiss, fontina, and provolone
 Lime or lemon wedges

Directions

If necessary, peel fruits and cut into bite-size pieces.
To keep peach, pear, or apple pieces from turning brown, dip fruit into a mixture of lemon juice and water; drain on paper toweling.
Cut thinly sliced prosciutto into 1-inch-wide strips.
Cut cheese into cubes.
On wooden picks alternately thread desired combinations of fruit, prosciutto, and cheese, threading each strip of prosciutto accordion style.
If desired, arrange appetizers on a lettuce-lined plate.
