Fructose White Cake Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
 
1/4 cup granulated fructose
 
2 tsp baking powder
 
3 tsp margarine, softened
 
1/3 cup skim, milk
 
1 egg
 
1 vanilla extract

Directions

Combine flour, fructose, and baking powder in a food processor.
Process on high for 30 seconds.
Add margarine and process for 30 seconds more.
Transfer ingredients to a medium- sized bowl.
Add milk, egg, and vanilla.
Beat on low for 30 seconds.
Then beat on high for 2 minutes.
Grease the bottom of an 8 in. (20 cm) round baking pan. (Do not grease the sides of the pan.) Line bottom with waxed paper and grease the waxed paper.
Transfer batter to prepared pan.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes or until pick inserted in middle comes out clean.
