Fructose Custard Recipe
One morsel of this Fructose Custard and you are hooked to it forever. Even though Fructose Custard is a Dessert I relish it any time of the day. It is the one Diabetic dish that most of the nutritionists swear by. A family favorite that is feasted upon every weekend, this Fructose Custard recipe should not be missed!
Ingredients
2 cup skim milk
3 tsp liquid fructose
3 tsp cocoa
1 vanilla bean, split
4 eggyolks
Directions
Combine milk, liquid fructose and cocoa in saucepan.
Stir to completely mix.
Add vanilla bean.
Heat to the scalding point, stirring often; remove from heat.
In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks until thick.
Remove vanilla bean from the chocolate-milk mixture.
Very gradually beat the hot milk into the egg yolks.
Pour the mixture into the saucepan.
Continue cooking and stirring over very low heat until the custard thickens.
Pour into 4 individual custard cups.
Chill.
