Frozen Lime Creme Recipe
Frozen lime crème is a frozen dessert made with heavy cream and lime and orange juice whipped together with marshmellows. Garnished with lime slices, the frozen lime crème is a refreshing, creamy and tangy dessert.
Ingredients
Juice of two limes
1 1/2 cups orange juice
1 pound marshmallows
Few drops green food coloring
3 cups heavy cream
Directions
Put juices and 6 marshmallows into Osterizer container, cover and process at LIQUEFY until smooth.
Remove feeder cap and add remaining marshmallows one at a time.
Add food coloring, replace cap and process until smooth.
Pour into large mixing bowl, chill until almost firm.
When mixture is almost firm, blender whip cream.
Fold cream into chilled mixture, turn into 6 cup mold and freeze 3 to 4 hours or overnight.
Remove from freezer about 30 minutes before serving, let stand at room temperature until creme will slip from mold easily.
Garnish with thin slices of lime.
