Frozen Choco-Coffee Pie Recipe
Coffee can actually make any dish special. A dash of coffee and the dish comes alive. Add the much needed zing to your cooking. This frozen choco-coffee pie is a wonderful treat that you would love to make over and over again.
Ingredients
| Chocolate wafer crumbs - 1 1/2 cups | ||
| Sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Melted butter | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coffee ice cream - 1 quart | ||
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to 400° F.
MAKING
2) Take a large bowl and combine in it sugar, butter and chocolate crumbs. Mix thoroughly.
3) Take a 9 inch pie plate and press prepared mixture at the bottom.
4) Bake for about 5 minutes. Cool thoroughly.
5) Slightly soften the ice cream and pack into pie shell.
6) Spread whipped cream over ice cream. Freeze.
SERVING
7) Remove pie from freezer about 20 minutes before serving to soften it a little.
