Frozen Chocolate Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pie shell | 9 inch, baked | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter/Margarine | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), softened | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 6 Ounce, cooled | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Eggs | 4 standard | |
| Whipping cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs), chilled | |
| Confectioner’s sugar | 2 Tablespoon |
Directions
Bake pie shell.
Cool.
Blend 1 cup confectioners' sugar and the butter in small mixer bowl on low speed until fluffy.
Blend in chocolate and vanilla.
On high speed, beat in eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Pour into pie shell.
Freeze several hours.
Remove from freezer 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
In chilled bowl, beat whipping cream and 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar until stiff.
Pile onto pie, and if desired, garnish with chocolate curls.
Cool.
