Frozen Chocolate Bananas Recipe
Ingredients
| Bananas | 3 , cut each into 1/2 widthwise to get 2 small pieces | |
| Chocolate sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
| Cornflour | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chocolate slab | 1 , softened and broken into small pieces (Preferable Dark Chocolate) |
Directions
Peel and insert a stick in each piece of banana, starting from the cut end and going till halfway.
Freeze the bananas in the refrigerator.
For the sauce, mix 1/2 cup water, butter, sugar and chocolate pieces.
Boil.
Add the dissolved cornflour and cocoa paste.
Cook on slow fire for 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously, till the sauce becomes thick and glossy.
It should coat the back of the spoon.
Dip the frozen banana in the chocolate sauce.
Coat banana with sauce properly, pouring sauce with the spoon, if required.
Place on a plate.
Cover with a plastic wrap or a cling film.
Freeze again till both the banana and the sauce are hard.
