Frozen Cherry Macaroon Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
| 6 coconut macaroon cookies, broken | ||
| Maraschino cherries | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), drained | |
| Chocolate ice cream | 1 Quart | |
Directions
Place steel blade in work bowl; add cookies.
Process till finely crushed; remove.
Reinsert steel blade; add cherries.
Process with on/off turns till finely chopped; add to crumbs.
Reinsert steel blade; add one-fourth of the ice cream.
Process till softened.
Continue processing ice cream, adding one-fourth at a time.
Add crumb mixture.
Process just till blended.
Spoon into paper bake cup-lined muffin pans or into one 8x4x2-inch loaf pan.
Cover; freeze 4 hours or overnight.
Process till finely crushed; remove.
