Frozen Banana Dessert Cups Recipe
Ingredients
2 extra ripe, medium DOLE® Bananas, peeled
1 cup DOLE® Fresh Strawberries
1 can (8 ounces) DOLE® Crushed Pineapple in Juice, drained
2 tablespoons honey
Dash ground nutmeg
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/4 cup DOLE® Chopped Almonds
1 cup DOLE® Pure & Light Mountain Cherry Juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon sugar
Sliced DOLE® fresh fruit for garnish
Directions
Place bananas, strawberries, pineapple, honey and nutmeg in blender container.
Process until smooth.
Pour into large bowl.
Fold in whipped topping and almonds.
Line 12 (2 1/2 inch) muffin cups with foil liners.
Fill with banana mixture.
Cover and freeze until firm.
Blend cherry juice, cornstarch and sugar in small saucepan.
Cook, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens.
Cool.
Process until smooth.
