Frosty Mint Tea Recipe
The frosty mint tea is a mint jelly tea recipe prepared with ginger ale. Chilled and sweetened, the frosty mint tea is great for the summers and is best served in frosted glass with mint sprigs as garnish.
Ingredients
| Boiling water | 3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tea leaves | 6 Teaspoon | |
| 1 tablespoon mint jelly | ||
| Lime juice | ||
| Confectioners' or granulated sugar | ||
| Ginger ale, chilled | ||
Directions
Pour boiling water over the tea.
Let steep 5 minutes.
Strain and pour hot tea over jelly; stir to dissolve.
Chill.
To frost rims of chilled glasses, dip into lime juice, then into sugar.
Fill glasses half full of tea; add crushed ice; fill to frost line with chilled ginger ale.
Garnish with lime slices and mint sprigs.
