Frostings And Fillings Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 cup corn syrup or honey
1/2 cup sugar
2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Cook the syrup and sugar together until the mixture spins a thread.
Stir constantly.
Beat the egg whites until frothy.
Add the salt and beat until stiff.
Pour syrup slowly over the egg whites.
Beat until the frosting stands in peaks.
Add vanilla extract.
Beat it until stiff enough to spread.
