Frosted Pineapple Crescents Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 small ripe pineapple
 
1 pint lemon sherbet

Directions

Cut pineapple in quarters lengthwise, right through leafy crown.
Cut core from each quarter.
Loosen fruit from rind in one piece by cutting close to round shell base (A grapefruit knife and a sawing motion speed the job.).
Halve fruit lengthwise, then cut crosswise into bite size pieces; chill until serving time.
When ready to serve, place each quarter on a serving plate; top with a scoop of lemon sherbet..
