Ingredients

 
1 pkg. Pillsbury Date Bread Mix
 
1 egg
 
1 cup water
 
3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
 
3 tablespoons well drained crushed pineapple
 
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
 
2 tablespoons milk Pecan halves to garnish

Directions

Prepare date bread mix with egg and water.
Bake as directed on package.
Cool completely.
Slice horizontally into 3 layers.
In small bowl, combine 3 oz.pkg.of cream cheese and pineapple.
Spread filling between layers; stack.
In small bowl, combine 8 oz.pkg.of cream cheese and milk; beat until fluffy.
Frost sides and top of loaf.
Garnish with pecan halves.
For ease in slicing, chill loaf for several hours.
Cut into 1/2 inch slices.
