 Sugar1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
 Firmly packed brown sugar1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
 Butter/Margarine1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
 Chopped nuts1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
 Soda1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon
 Salt3⁄4 Teaspoon
 Buttermilk1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Vanilla1 Teaspoon
 Egg frosting1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Powdered sugar2 Cup (32 tbs)
 Milk/Light cream4 Tablespoon
 Almond extract/Vanilla1⁄4 Teaspoon

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.) In large bowl, combine first four ingredients; blend at low speed until crumbly.
Press 2 cups crumb mixture into ungreased 13x9 inch pan.
To remaining crumb mixture, add nuts, soda, cinnamon, salt, buttermilk, vanilla and egg; blend well.
Pour evenly over crumb mixture.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 20 minutes.
In small bowl, blend Frosting ingredients until smooth.
Spread over partially cooled bars.
Cool completely; cut into bars.
