Frosted Cherry Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 can red sour cherries, undrained | ||
| Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 package cherry flavored gelatin | ||
| Cold water | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Celery | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Cream cheese | 1 , softened | |
| Mayonnaise | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Pecans | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Combine cherries, sugar, and gelatin in a saucepan; heat until gelatin is dissolved.
Add cold water and cool.
Chill until it begins to thicken.
Add celery and return to refrigerator.
When congealed, top with mixture of softened cream cheese and mayonnaise.
Sprinkle with pecans.
Chill until serving time.
