Frosted Chocolate Apricot Ring Recipe
Ingredients

| Vanilla essence | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 3/4 cup castor sugar | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| 1 1/3 cups self-raising flour | ||
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cocoa | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup Choc Bits | ||
| Apricots | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| CHOCOLATE FROSTING | ||
| Butter | 60 Gram | |
| Icing Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cocoa | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Milk | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Prepare as for basic butter cake but sift cocoa with the flour.
Stir Choc Bits and apricots into mixture.
Bake in moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting: Beat butter in small bowl with electric mixer until creamy, gradually add sifted icing sugar and cocoa, then milk; beat until spreadable.
Spread over cold cake.
